This policy explains what personal data we handle when you visit mariathefilipina.com, buy a book or email us.

What we collect

• Purchases: checkout is run by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem collects your name, email, billing country and payment details and shares with us your name, email and what you bought. We never see your full card details. Creem's privacy policy applies to the data it processes.
• Emails: if you write to us, we keep your email address and message so we can answer you and help with your order.
• Website: the site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site. Fonts load from Google Fonts. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To deliver your books, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the store: Creem (payments and delivery), Cloudflare (hosting) and Zoho (email). Some of them may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax law requires. Support emails are kept for up to three years, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@mariathefilipina.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
